Between Lineage and Land.
In 1847, Patrick FitzPatrick stepped into Auckland Harbour and onto New Zealand soil for the very first time. His journey across the world was shaped by the hope of building a better life for himself, and for the generations who would follow.
He left behind more than the land of his birth. He left behind Ossory, a former Irish kingdom and ancestral seat of the House of Ossory, where the FitzPatrick family had ruled for centuries as one of the world’s longest-enduring dynasties.
House of Ossory was born from the desire to honour that inheritance by creating something worthy of it. Equally, it is a tribute to New Zealand, the land that nourished our family, offered opportunity, and fulfilled the hope that first carried us across oceans.
Grounded in luxury, shaped by legacy, and rooted in New Zealand provenance, House of Ossory exists to carry forward a distinguished heritage while honouring the land our family now calls home.
